Description: Due to geographical location, geology and topography, Turkey is subject to suffer different natural disaster such as floods, landslides and snow avalanches. The analysis must identify all NATO capabilities that might be used in support of Izmir authorities in the management of emergency situations caused by natural risks. The Plan and analysis model should also be extrapolated to other regions in Turkey. The plan should foresee how NATO land forces could plug into National Crisis Management for Disaster Response Plans.
