Courses
Responding and adapting to COVID-19 imperatives, in 2020 the CMDR COE transferred all of its residential courses to an online environment while preserving the same high standards of quality and performance. Relatedly, the CMDR COE revamped and calibrated its E&T curriculum to ensure that trainings remain relevant and abiding by the principle of actively engaging the training audience in the creation and transfer of knowledge, irrespective of the medium for delivery.
We offer synchronous instructor-guided e-learning courses which meet the same requirements and standards of quality and certification as the ones applicable to the face-to-face versions (NATO Approved). E-courses consist of live sessions with instructors in a virtual classroom; breakout syndicate rooms; self-paced and facilitator-guided individual and /or collective tasks. The study method continuous to be premised on the principles of adult learning and formative and summative assessment are tailored to the specifics of the online environment.
In addition to transferring all residential courses online, the CMDR COE also developed two Advanced Distribute Learnings (ADL) on Crisis Management and Disaster Response Exercise Planners and on Crisis Management and Disaster Response. These asynchronous self-paced courses will serve as course prerequisite for the online iterations, i.e. for the e-courses, of two of the CMDR COE certified courses of the same name.
We continue to improve our E&T products and to increase the long-term effects of the learning experience we offer.
