Important visit to CMDR COE

A delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of North Macedonia paid an official visit to CMDR COE from 6 to 8 December 2021. During discussions, the representatives of CMDR COE led by the Deputy Director, Captain (Navy) George Tzavaras outlined the key activities performed by the Centre, and elaborated on its mission, vision for future development, and current projects. In its turn, the delegation from the North Macedonian Defence Ministry presented its perspective on the possible future collaboration with CMDR COE. Additionally, the delegation members took part in an international conference, jointly organized by the CMDR COE and the Sofia Security Forum, on the topic: “The future of transatlantic relations: Turning а new page оn enhanced cooperation amid new security challenges”. The visit was concluded with a discussion on the possibilities for future joint projects on a bilateral basis, and for future accession of the Republic of North Macedonia as a Sponsoring Nation to CMDR COE.
