The Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence has signed a Collaboration Framework Agreement with the Capacity Building International Institute, based in Delaware, USA.
The idea to enter into such collaboration is in order to promote and facilitate education and training opportunities as well as to cooperate in the fields of emergency/crisis management and disaster response. Areas of agreement cover any activity, project and programme which will be considered feasible and desirable as subject of mutual consent. The modes include joint research and development, education and qualification, joint training activities, joint participation in workshops, seminars and conferences.
CMDR COE is highly dedicated and lays special emphasis upon such bi-lateral agreements with academia and research institutions as the promotion of ideas and educational trainings are one of its fundamental tasks.
The agreement will be in force for five years.
