A Framework Collaboration Agreement has been signed between CMDR COE and Protection and Rescue Directorate of North Macedonia on 5 July 2021. It has been elaborated to promote, facilitate and consolidate the cooperation in education, training, research and development, based on the principles of reciprocity and mutual benefit.
In the official meeting for signing, the Director of the Protection and Rescue Directorate of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Bekim Maksuti presented the structure, responsibilities, activities and tasks of his organization. As members of the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative or South Eastern Europe, Bulgaria and North Macedonia, cooperate actively in the domain of crisis management and disaster response.
The signed Framework Collaboration Agreement is a significant step ahead in the areas of cooperation which will include, subject to mutual consent, any activity, project or programme at either Organization as considered feasible and desirable on either side in order to foster and develop the cooperative relationship between the Participants.
