Exercise Planner Training

CMDR COE conducted the Crisis Management And Disaster Response Exercise Planners Training (CMDREPT) Course from 2 to 6 December 2024.
The course consisted of interactive lectures, practical tasks, case studies, and a final test. The study method used was based on the principles of adult learning so as to allow trainees to be actively internalizing and processing new knowledge. Formative and summative assessment were made on in-class activities and was be monitored by dedicated staff.
The primary aim of the course was to provide the participants with a fundamental knowledge of NATO’s complex exercise planning process. It also provided an opportunity for the participants to enhance their ability to work together in a NATO joint and multinational environment.
The Course consisted of detailed presentations by the Centre's subject matter experts, discussion-based lectures, syndicate work, and practical exercises.
The course was attended by 16 participants representing nine countries spanning three continents.
