From 20 to 22 November 2024, a group of newly appointed ACT GFPs received training aimed to enable them to support the integration of gender perspectives within their respective area of responsibility.

The event gathers group of SMEs who practiced advocating for and support to the implementation of NATO’s commitments to the Women, Peace and Security agenda as well as the importance of the Alliance’s gender advisory structure. The present course delivered lectures focused on identification of gender perspectives in security areas. A balanced mixture of individual and collective exercises facilitated the study on existing policy framework and tools for gender mainstreaming, and on the role of GFPs within NATO’s gender advisory structure.
