Awareness of integrity
Date: (20-06-2024)
From 17 to 20 June 2024, the CMDR COE and the Building Integrity Team from the Defense Academy of the United Kingdom, in a collaborative effort, had the privilege of hosting and co-delivering the Building Integrity in Crisis Management and Disaster Response Course.
This residential course brought together civilian and military learners from six NATO and partner nations and provided them with a venue for the active exchange of best practices and expertise in their respective fields of activity.
The course content was designed to heighten the learners’ awareness of the myriad challenges to integrity in the fields of human resource management and leadership. It also expanded their understanding of the available resources and approaches that could aid them in overcoming these challenges. The course also underscored the importance of efficient public financial management, effective use of media and strategic communications, and the risks of corruption in procurement and logistics. It further delved into the complexities of security environments, disaster relief, and civil emergencies.
We thank all course participants for their active engagement in the event and we wish them success in their future endeavors!
