Research Papers on focus
Date: (27-02-2024)
Another prolific round of the CMDR COE Internship Program has ended as the Research Paper presentations by the interns took place today, 27 February 2024. In front of the Centre’s team of experts, the two from the September-February curriculum delivered their projects. First presented Mr. Teodor Ginchev, supervised by LtC Koev, who focused on the contemporary teaching, education and training mechanisms in terms of present and future challenges, threats and crisis. Mr. Ginchev confined and discussed several aspects of up-to-date technologies of teaching and study related to the preparedness and mitigation in terms of CMDR.
Next presentation was delivered by Mr. Gonzalo Vazquez, supervised by LtC Bossilkov. His case studies cover the issue of the impact analysis and risk management in the maritime shipping industry. Mr. Vazquez provided brief overview of the current state and importance to the world trade of the maritime staging and shipping. He stressed attention to the correlation between enterprise interests and risk management. Thus he concluded to the necessity of robust interaction between business impact analysis and risk assessment in terms of CMDR i.e. climate change, weather conditions in open sea, piracy and geopolitical issues.
Both presentations received very positive feedback from the audience and many insightful questions. The CMDR COE Director presented certificates to the interns in recognition of their successful completion of the programme, and in appreciation of their work on the research papers, and the entire dedicated performance.
