Talks for collaboration with Serbian MOD

A delegation from the Directorate for European Integration and Project Management of the Defense Policy Sector of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia visited CMDR COE for expert talks on project management activities. The event provided information and knowledge exchange among civilian and military experts, and promoted coordination of actions in the crisis management and disaster response domain. The delegation was led by Mr. Milan Milutinovic, Head of the European Integration Group. Together with Ms. Jelena Krdzavac-Skakic, Head of the Project Management Group and Mr. Slobodan Stanojlovic from the Sector for Defense Policy of Serbian Ministry of Defense were welcomed by Colonel Orlin Nikolov, CMDR COE Director. He presented to the guests different aspects of the ongoing projects and provided courses by the Center. Additionally the Centre's branch heads introduced the visitors with the routines of their respective subordinated branches.
The Serbian delegation expressed interest on the opportunities of a non-NATO nation to join the Centre's activities and projects as well as the benefits both sides would achieve. Colonel Orlin Nikolov underlined the wide opportunities of possible contribution and collaboration as the CMDR COE is open for all NATO and PfP members, as well for NATO's Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, and Global partners. The meeting set a promising beginning of bilateral interaction.
