CMDR COE Experts Make a Leading Contribution to REGIONAL ENDEAVOUR 2026 in Jordan

CMDR COE Experts Make a Leading Contribution to REGIONAL ENDEAVOUR 2026 in Jordan

Date: (10-09-2026)

Two experts from the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE) took part in the REGIONAL ENDEAVOUR 2026 Workshop 1 (REGEND WS-1), held in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, from 7 to 10 September 2026.

Organised by Allied Joint Force Command Naples (JFC Naples) and hosted by the Royal Jordan Armed Forces, the workshop focused on Operational Crisis Management and Multilateral Coordination under the overarching theme “Strengthening Operational Crisis Management through Multilateral Coordination.” The activity brought together representatives of Partner Nations, NATO and regional stakeholders with the aim of strengthening operational crisis-management capacity through education, exchange of national experiences, practical application and multinational cooperation.

The two CMDR COE experts played a leading role throughout the workshop, delivering a number of lectures and actively facilitating practical activities, syndicate work and professional discussions with the training audience. Their contribution supported participants in exploring crisis-management principles and organisational approaches, exchanging national experiences and identifying common challenges, requirements and opportunities for cooperation.

A strong emphasis was placed on moving beyond traditional classroom instruction and encouraging the practical application of crisis-management concepts. Through case studies, multinational syndicate discussions and planning activities, participants were able to test different approaches to complex crisis situations and examine how national and multinational capabilities could complement one another.

The workshop followed a progressive methodology aimed at first establishing a common understanding of crisis management, then identifying and testing shared requirements, developing and applying multinational approaches, and finally drawing conclusions and recommendations for future cooperation. This approach provided a valuable environment for open dialogue, exchange of expertise and development of practical solutions to challenges requiring coordinated multinational responses.

The participation of the CMDR COE mobile training team once again demonstrated the Centre’s ability to provide relevant subject-matter expertise and practical support to NATO and Partner Nations in the field of crisis management and disaster response. It also contributed to strengthening interoperability, professional networks and mutual understanding among participants.

At the conclusion of the activity, the organisers from JFC Naples J9 expressed their appreciation to the CMDR COE experts for their valuable contribution, active engagement and professional support to the successful conduct of the workshop.

CMDR COE’s participation in REGIONAL ENDEAVOUR 2026 further underlines the Centre’s continued commitment to supporting NATO’s partnership activities and to enhancing regional and multinational cooperation in addressing increasingly complex crisis-management challenges.
