Enhancing Crisis Management Capabilities in Jordan

Date: (04-07-2025)

The third event this year supporting the National Centre for Security and Crises Management (NCSCM) in Jordan has successfully concluded, continuing efforts to strengthen the Hashemite Kingdom's national crisis and disaster management capabilities. These events are designed to improve governmental resilience through advanced training and practical exercises, particularly using specialized software and C2 systems. This iteration emphasized the development and integration of Modeling & Simulation (M&S), Command & Control (C2), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.

Additionally, the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE) hosted a Final Coordination Conference in preparation for the "Ammon Sentinel 2025" exercise, set for early August 2025. This exercise will gather regional experts and NATO-aligned institutions, marking the final phase in a comprehensive training cycle. Key objectives include enhancing real-time crisis management planning and refining the integration of advanced technical tools for operational efficacy.

The upcoming exercise will further explore potential synergies among various M&S, C2, and AI tools to advance decision support, situational awareness, and the agility of crisis response mechanisms. By integrating these systems, organizers aim to significantly boost the effectiveness of decision-making and operational responsiveness in crisis situations.
