Date: (01-04-2025)
We are delighted to commence the Climate Change and Security Course today at the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE) in Sofia, Bulgaria. Conducted under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and supported by the Diplomatic Institute to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, this course brings together participants to explore the security implications of climate change.
Over the next four days, we will delve into the challenges posed by global warming, environmental risk factors, and the impact of climate change on international peace and security in the short, medium, and long term.
We look forward to insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and a productive learning experience!
