Sportive spirit and motivation at the Ekiden Marathon

The members enthusiastically kept the sportive spirit, and achieving the result of 3h14'15", gained the applauses and the respect of the organizers, supporters and the community. The demonstrated high motivation and great sport fit united four CMDR COE members and two supporters.
The team was congratulated by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Nevena Mitova.
“Ekiden” word originates from the combination of the Japanese words “words "station" and "transmit", The concept of long distance relay is unique to each country. In Bulgaria the Ekiden Marathon is conducted on the occasion of the National Day, Unification of Principality of Bulgaria and Eastern Rumelia.
