The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event, held in Orlando, Florida, USA, from 27 November to 01 December 2023.
The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) is the world's largest modeling, simulation and training event. I/ITSEC consists of peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, special events, professional workshops, a commercial exhibit hall, a serious games competition, and STEM events for teachers and secondary students. I/ITSEC is organized and sponsored by the National Training & Simulation Association (NTSA), which promotes international and interdisciplinary cooperation within the fields of modeling and simulation (M&S), training, education, analysis, and related disciplines at this annual meeting. The NTSA is an affiliate subsidiary of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). Hence, I/ITSEC also emphasizes themes related to defence and security. The Training, Simulation and Modeling Industry has a very important job to do in providing the very best of Training Equipment and Simulation Technologies for the forces in the field as well as at home. I/ITSEC strives to meet these very important and ever changing needs.
The attendees that are present at I/ITSEC understand that training is a core process in a successful and modern business. In these successful organizations, training is continuous, pervasive, and institutionalized. These organizations are present to I/ITSEC to find the resources that they will need to adapt to the new tasks and threats of tomorrow.
The CMDR COE Director Colonel Orlin Nikolov and the Operational Labs Section Head Colonel Kostadin Lazarov delivered and presented an article at the Conference on the subject “Refugee Flow Management and Resilience Implications”, as well presented on the NATO Booth NMSG-221 Research Task Group "M&S Support for Building Resilience and Mass Movement Flow".
