Hosting a course

The CMDR COE hosted a course on Hazard Prediction and Assessment Capability (HPAC), at the request of the Joint Force Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria. The course was held from 3 to 7 April 2023, and was facilitated by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The training was provided to a group of 19 Bulgarian Armed Forces personnel, and its primary focus was on improving their knowledge and skills related to modelling and forecasting hazards in CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) incidents. The course also included training on the use of the HPAC software package, which is a critical tool for assessing and predicting the impact of CBRN incidents.
