Date: (31-08-2022)
A CMDR COE team led by the CMDR COE's Director visited the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy on 31 August. The aims of the visit were to present the current status, capabilities, problems and aims of the Naval Academy's and CMDR COE's laboratories; to define a multilevel and multitask approach for further deep cooperation and transfer of technology; to make a high-level interinstitutional retrospection and assessment of the Naval Academy and CMDR COE cooperation; and to increase the spectrum of the tasks solved with common efforts and to re-sign the Memorandum of Understanding signed five years ago.
The visit passed in two sessions - first one covering the technical and operational issues concerning the two labs. The second part of the visit concerned the institutional cooperation and was led by the Rector of Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy Varna Flotilla admiral prof. Boyan Mednikarov and the CMDR COE Director Colonel Orlin Nikolov. The high number of new possible common projects and activities were limited in order to keep the partnership productive and efficient. The meeting will be followed by the next visit to CMDR COE's premises in a few days.
