Extensively educated and highly motivated CMDR COE personnel is a necessity in order Centre to reach its objectives. In order to achieve a high level of working performance, team spirit and morale of each member of CMDR COE have to be enhanced, and participation in sport events is excellent opportunity. These events are to be used to improve not only the internal teambuilding process but also the quality of external contacts.
We run united and have a lot of friends! This was the moto under which members of the CMDR COE in friendship with very motivated representatives from different structures from Bulgarian MoD and Governemtnal organizations took part in the 2020 Sofia Ekiden Relay Marathon on 6 September. Among others, the event marked 135 years of Bulgarian Unification.
Divided in two teams we and our friends ran alongside prominent athletes from various institutions and organisations, and covered the total marathon distance in six standard relay positions - 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and 7.195 km.
The motivating results achieved will serve as an impetus for better performance on the next similar events.
