The Steering Committee is the strategic governing body, responsible for the approval and management of the Centre's Programme of Work and the shared budget.

Тhe Chairperson of the SC, Lieutenant General Mihail Popov, Bulgarian Deputy Chief of Defence, welcomed the representatives from the Framework Nation, the Sponsoring Nations, and the observers from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and the Allied Command of Transformation. He ensured that all SC members and CMDR COE staff are dedicated and committed to the further development of the Centre.

The Committee acknowledged the reported activities for 2024, discussed the Financial Budget, noted the proposed changes on the structure and the main documents, and approved the Program of Work for next year, on the basis of NATO’s, Sponsoring Nations’ requests for support and CMDR COE operational development necessities.

It was reported that the Centre’s activities and assigned tasks have been successfully completed, and the Centre continues to expand its range of offerings.
