Workshop on assessing and monitoring

Date: (11-09-2024)
On 10 September 2024, the CMDR COE conducted a productive workshop focusing on the discipline "Military Contribution to EU Disaster Response, Humanitarian Assistance, and Civil Protection".
The event was conducted on-line and brought together key experts and decision-makers from 6 countries to discuss training gaps and explore collaborative opportunities for improving training programs across the EU. The workshop highlighted the importance of joint civil-military training and the need to revise training requirements based on new lessons learned and emerging threats. Participants emphasized the need for consistent cooperation between institutions to better align with the Common Core Curriculum, ensuring military personnel are well-prepared for future challenges.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this important event. We look forward to continued collaboration and making important steps in developing training solutions that address the evolving needs of disaster response in Europe.
