Announcement VIP Symposium North Macedonia 2021

VIP Symposium: open to all Allied and partner nations, NATO Military Authorities, NATO Commands, International and Non-Governmental Organizations. Each nation can nominate high-level representatives for in-person attendance at the VIP Symposium.
Participants in the VIP Symposium are invited to register before 1 September 2021.
A VIP Symposium on “Civil-Military Support to a Civil Emergency” and “Lessons from DisasterResponse under COVID-19 Conditions”; with views by panellists and a moderated discussionbetween high-level representatives of NATO, Allied and partner nations, internationalorganizations and non-governmental organizations. The symposium will be broadcast on the internet.
Apart from North Macedonia, 15 Allied and partner nations, the Balkan Medical Task Force (BMTF), theCrisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR CoE), the Organization for Security andCo-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Multinational Peace Force South-Eastern Europe Brigade (SEEBRIG), andthe Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative for South-Eastern Europe (DPPI SEE) already indicated their willingness to participate in the consequence management exercise and/or to contribute exercise elements.
