An Ambassador Visit

Colonel Nikolov, Director CMDR COE in the presence of Centre’s command body, chiefs of branches, met with H.E. Mr Thabo Thage, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa (RSA), October 2nd, 2019.
Both sides exchanged views on several issues during the meeting, namely disaster management, mass-movement issues concerning global security and collaboration practices to tackle crises. They focused discussions on further bilateral cooperation and capabilities of the Centre to provide education and consultation in an interest of the RSA. Colonel Nikolov encouraged participation of South African’s students in the Centre’s forums as educational courses and computer assisted exercises. H.E. Mr Thabo Thage stressed the importance of education and institutional linkages between research and training bodies in the area of disaster management.
