Description:

Most crises (both inter-state and intra-stated rooted) have multi-dimensional causes and symptoms. Their management is operationalized through various stages, principles, tools and actors for crisis transformation. Apart from military officers, foreign policy makers and security experts, humanitarian and relief workers, as well as members of the business community are recognised as essential actors in the field of crisis management. History of armed conflicts and humanitarian crisis illustrates that vulnerable societies are susceptible of corruption. In an emergency situation the corruption consequences are amplified and have devastating effect on crisis resolution.
