This project has been developed in support of the Civil Preparedness/Crisis Management Initiative of the Updated Defence Capacity Building (DCB) Package for Jordan.2. The International Staff (IS) Operations Division (OPS) is the Parent Division and Executing Agent of the project. Activities will be implemented primarily by the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE), additional courses will take place at the Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence Centre of Excellence (JCBRN COE).
The objective of the project is to enhance the national capabilities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the field of crisis and disaster management and governmental resilience, by delivering advanced training, as well as practical exercises focused on the use of specialised software and C2 systems. The overall aim is to enhance the ability of the National Centre for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) to conduct high quality preparation exercises via sophisticated modelling and simulation capabilities.
