1. Introduction

A. The Business Continuity Management (BCM) Annual Discipline Conference (ADC) will take place at the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE) in Sofia, Bulgaria in 05th of June 2025. This will be the first event in the life of the Discipline.

B. The BCM ADC 2025 will be held under the guidance of Headquarters Supreme Allied Command Transformation/ Multi Domain Force Development (HQ SACT MDFD). The event is hosted by the CMDR COE. Our Centre is the Department Head for the discipline within ACT Global Programming Framework (Ref B).

2. Aim

The aim of the ADC is to support the sustainment and development of the discipline by assessing the adequacy of the training programme, for both Education and Individual Training (E&IT) and Collective Training and Exercises (CT&E), used to satisfy NATO E&T requirements. The Community of Interest (CoI) at the BCM ADC 2025 will assess existing and emerging training requirements associated with BCM Discipline. It will suggest changes and inform the strategic commands on the status of the discipline.

3. Invitees

A. The BCM discipline is maturing and the Community of Interest is growing. The ADC welcomes participants from NATO organizations (NCS, NFS, HQs), COEs, Education Training Facilities. The expected participants from various entities are stated in the Distribution List below. Each invited entity is requested to internally select and nominate their respective representatives for the event.
